Although he had tried for long while, Oliver was certain he would never see his father again. Traveling where his heart led, he found himself on the foothills of a foreign land. It was strange yet familiar this spring and he had grown confident in his ability to dart in and out of the pastoral land.
My painting was inspired by this art work of St Hubert who was Bishop of Liege in 716 AD who is said to have seen Christ on the antlers of a Stag. Painter is unknown but it was painted around 1485 AD on a left panel.
